“There are CRMs, support systems, and all sorts of tooling that have been built over the past decade that hold a lot of this data, but there’s nobody who has really combined that data with an effective communication platform,” Fushman says. Ilya Fushman, partner at Kleiner Perkins, has known Kvamme since his early days in the venture capital world, as Fushman’s first-ever venture investment was in SeatMe.įushman says the critical bit that got him excited about Pathlight was the platform’s combination of data and communication. Though they don’t release revenue information, Kvamme says they have several enterprise clients, one of which is fintech company Earnin.Īccording to Kvamme, the company has seen a boost in interest due to the situation with the coronavirus, as the lockdown has led to a lot of remote work, and managers and employees “suddenly not being six feet away from each other.” The company was in stealth mode for three years until it officially launched in March of this year.

Pathlight’s focus is on customer facing teams such as sales, customer support, and sales development. “And on the flip side, the workers are using it to track and manage themselves to improve their results.” “It is a great way for managers to keep track of how their workers are doing, and whether they are meeting their goals,” Kvamme, who is currently the CEO of Pathlight, says.
